Council content is 100 percent member-driven: CIOs identify challenges and potential resources, and the Council taps the collective expertise of the membership to develop best practice field guides, research studies, presentations and case histories. Many CIOs have contributed their own tools, templates and samples that can be freely adapted by the membership. Additional third-party materials are hand-selected by Council staff if they meet member needs and emphasize CIO experiences.
Most of the Council's content -- currently more than 1000 resources -- are exclusive to the membership and available via a password-protected knowledge repository. Some, by member request, are shared with the global CIO community to benefit the profession at large.
