As a member of the CIO Executive Council, you’ll have access to weekly educational & networking opportunities each month. Our events are completely member-driven and free of commercial interest.

Virtual Member Engagement Activities

The Council produces monthly webcasts that include CIO-hosted presentations, panels and roundtable discussions on timely IT management and leadership topics. In addition, participants in our Pathways professional development program have access to bimonthly leadership webcasts.

In-Person Meetings & Conferences

In addition to valuable, time- and cost-efficient virtual member engagement activities, the Council understands the need to have in-person networking and development experiences as well. We offer a wide variety of in-person networking opportunities to meet your needs from CIO-hosted half-day regional meetings for ±15 members, to multiday conferences co-produced with CIO magazine.

Attending Member Engagement Activities

Many in-person and virtual member engagement activities are included in your membership and all members receive free registration to CIO magazine conferences like The CIO Leadership Event, CIO 100 Symposium, CIO Perspectives, as well as Computerworld’s Premier 100. Other IT leaders (director level and above) are welcome to register (fees may apply).

While Council regional membership meetings are for members only, CIOs from eligible companies (no IT vendors or consultancies) interested in joining the Council may request an invitation to attend a meeting in their area.
